De Graafstroom has joined the Science Based Targets Initiative. De Graafstroom has hereby committed itself to scientifically based climate goals, based on the Paris Climate Agreement. The Science Based Targets Initiative is a collaboration between the CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute and the World Wide Fund for Nature. De Graafstroom is committed to reducing Greenhouse Gas emissions in scope 1 and 2 by 42% by 2030 (base year: 2022). In addition, De Graafstroom has further tightened its sustainability program to achieve the intended reductions in scope 3 by 2030.
