from Kockengen
“My father and I started this dairy farm in Gieltjesdorp near Kockengen in 2001. He was a cattle trader and I worked in the building industry, but I believe you should try and do what you really want to do. That’s why we now milk our 70 strong, black and red-pied cows who feast on fresh grass every day. You see, such grazing yields the most delicious milk and therefore the best cheese. My farming methods are straightforward, because being a farmer is not a job - it’s a way of life.”
